I bit my tongue so that she could see, in a safe way, just how dangerous such a budding skill can be. At this point, it is best reserved for the park with your mummy.
As a child, I can remember walking home from school with a book in hand and finding myself at the wrong side of the playground because I'd veered off course. The joy of reading!
It must have been a good book! I think I used to do it as a teenager when the main street of the city was wide and long. If I'd ever mastered that skill, I don't have it anymore :)
