Jon, Flora and the Odd-Eyed Cat by Stella Pevsner

Devyn and I love reading novels together.  Last night, we finished Jon, Flora and the Odd-Eyed Cat.

I loved reading with Devyn.  The book itself was disappointing, especially the end.

But Devyn loved it. I recall that, as we were selecting a book to read from one of our bins, she wanted to read it because she adored the cover.  She now thinks it is the most interesting story she's ever read. She especially enjoyed the variety of characters. She wishes she herself could be Flora.

I've proposed reading Mary Poppins next but Devyn would like to examine our options before agreeing.  Fair enough.
